Political Contributions By Businesses Entities

Typically, business entities that make political contributions are not required to disclose that amount. However, if your company does business with the state in excess of $100,000 in a 1 year period, and one or more of your employees makes a political contribution, you may need to file a form with the state. The State Board of Elections site has a nice summarized version of this law. In addition, the site also provides a link to the form such a business entity must complete.
