Maryland Commission On Human Relations

The Maryland Commission On Human Relations is an independent government agency governed by a 9 member commission who are appointed by the Governor. Article 49B of the Maryland Code provides that the agency “may hold hearings and initiate surveys to determine the scope of human relations problems, and to make recommendations for resolving them.” Currently, the only regulations promolgated by this agency and linked to on their site is to Anti-discrimination Relating to Persons with Disabilities. The Agency's other regulations, however, can be found on COMAR section 14.03.01 to section 14.03.04.
