Maryland Practice: Civil Procedure Forms

While I get up to blogging speed, I might throw a few no-brainers out there. This is not a bad thing. With the volume of legal information out there, occasionally you need a refresher course in the basics.

I find one invaluable resource that I always rely upon when asked about Maryland forms is George Liebmann's Civil Procedure Forms of the Maryland Practice set. (Liebmann is, of course, one of the great scholarly minds of Maryland law.) This, of course, has examples of the standard and esoteric forms you will find in Maryland civil practice. If you are ever asked to write a motion you have never written before, like say a "Motion for Non-disclosure of Secret Processes on Deposition," this is the book that shows you how to do it (and with some helpful commentary to boot). If you don't own a copy, your local public law library or general public library (in Maryland of course) should have one available.

“Institute On The Constitution” Offering Course On Maryland Constitution, Lecture On Importance Of Sacred Oath Of Office

“Institute On The Constitution” is offering a course on the Maryland State Constitution beginning Jan 29 at 7pm in Suite 315 at 8028 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, Maryland. This is the only course offered any where on the Maryland State Constitution. It will be held for six weeks on Thursday evenings.=2 0The instructor will be Pastor David Whitney, Senior Instructor at “IOTC” and Pastor of the Evangelical Free Church in Pasadena, Maryland.

Pastor Whitney will also be the “IOTC’s” February “First Friday” lecturer on February 6th when he will discuss the Sacred Oath required by the Constitution. This is the oath all elected and appointed officials must swear before taking office. This “First Friday” lecture will be February 6th at 7pm in Suite 315 at 8028 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, Maryland. For more information on both of these events, call 1-866-730-9796.
The “Institute On The Constitution” is an educational effort on the part of the Law Office of Peroutka and Peroutka of Pasadena, Maryland. The "IOC" is intended to reconnect Americans to the history of the American Republic and to their heritage of freedom under law.

The idea behind the "IOC" is that by exploring the fundamental Biblical principles of civil government upon which our Constitutional Republic was founded, and by studying the original intent of the founders, we can begin to recover the lost freedoms that require knowledge and vigilance to protect and defend. Today, many Americans are surprised but delighted to learn that we were founded as a Constitutional Republic of Sovereign States with a central government of purposely limited powers based on Biblical principles. The recovery an d application of these principles is necessary for the reclamation of the Republic.

The “Institute On The Constitution” web address is:
http://www.iotconline.com/. Please visit the site and seriously consider taking the “IOC’s” on-line course on the Constitution.
