Maryland Smoking Ban Law
Maryland's new law (The Clean Indoor Act of 2007) banning smoking in indoor public areas goes into effect this Friday. See articles from the Sun, the Baltimore Business Journal, and the Gazette.

Stupid Maryland Lawmakers, if there was demand from the public that bars should be smokefree, then the marketplace would oblige.
But no, they have to act like what goes on in adult establishments is needed to be government scrutinized

This supposed law does not have teeth.
there is no way to enforce it,
it looks like it is made to shut the non-smokers up. just to say that they gave them a law, there is no 30 feet limit away from doors, nothing.
it's hog wash and it kills more people, because you can't even complain; there is no way you can win.
in the old days if somebody was shooting at you with a gun, you can shoot back, nowadays they kill you slowly with second hand smoke and you cant do anything about it
a smart smoker would switch to
eSmoke and simply continue to smoke indoors.
